How this journey started?
If the rush of adrenaline and craving for adventure is what gets you going, you are at the right place. ikerZ, Spanish for someone who has inner desire for travel and adventure, aims to be the most preferred destination for fulfilling your need for getting the most lavish ride. The core team at ikerZ holds this thirst for adventure close to their hearts. It is their wish to connect with fellow enthusiasts.
The idea of ikerZ, like several other instances, was born out of a personal need. Eshan, Mridul, and Rahul, co-founders of ikerZ, studying together at Indian Institute of Management, Udaipur, and an avid biker themselves, were on their way to the Leh-Ladakh, the Summit for Indian biking aspirations. One fine vacation morning, the journey began through the Indian capital – New Delhi. A biking trip, planned well in advance, went completely haywire when one of the group mates wasn’t able to rent a bike on time. Though the group was able to salvage the trip through some ‘jugaad’ as they say, the seeds of a start-up were sown. And the journey began.
By an interesting twist of fate, Eshan, Mridul, and Rahul, found one more companion ‘en route’ – This time through a metaphorical journey to the summit and some entrepreneurial ‘Jugaad’. Joined by one more enthusiast and an experienced bike tour operator on this adventure trip, this idea was fueled. Reaching full throttle through months of deliberations and negotiations, ikerz finally reached the starting line. Though the journey is still underway, excitement is persistent.
We, at ikerZ, rent out all types of bikes, travel accessories, and provide Guided Bike tours.
